Eye Witness News (EWN) is a South African online news platform that provides up to date content to readers and subscribers.
My role was to create, design and implement the Live Reporter Tool on their CMS and news platform.

EWN needed a live article feature for their site. It needed to work for journalists who were reporting live events within the EWN CMS, as well as fit with their current styleguide.
I worked closely with their current CMS to integrate a fully functioning live article publishing tool and then designed and prototyped an article page. Alongside another developer, I implemented the designs in HTML and CSS. I also worked closely with one other back-end engineer who worked on the functionality of the CMS.
